Blue Hen Chiropractic was established by Dr. Whelan in 2002.  She is a cum laude graduate of the New York Chiropractic College.  Dr. Whelan enjoys treating patients of all ages, including athletes, expecting mothers, and children.  She uses a hands on technique to deliver chiropractic care.  Methods employed include: Diversified, Flexion-Distraction, Activator, and Soft Tissue.

The Licensed Massage Therapists employed at Blue Hen Chiropractic have over 40 year combined experience.  We offer Therapeutic and Deep Tissue Massage as well as Relaxation and Swedish.  Our therapists have additional training in Prenatal Massage, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, and Reflexology.

At Blue Hen Chiropractic, we diagnose and treat injuries related to the neuromusculoskeletal system which includes the nerves, muscles, bones, joints, ligaments and tendons.

We also welcome the opportunity to help patients recover from traumatic injury sustained in an auto or workplace accident.  Dr. Whelan is a certified health care provider with Delaware’s Workers’ Compensation.

Blue Hen Chiropractic is in-network with most insurance companies.  We accept and bill directly to Highmark BCBS, Aetna, Medicare, Delaware Medicaid, United Healthcare, and many more including all auto and workers’ compensation carriers.
